Teacher Retirement System (TRS) workshop

The NYSUT Nassau Regional Office (NRO) is sponsoring three Teacher Retirement System (TRS) workshops at our new Garden City office, 100 Quentin Roosevelt Blvd. Suite 402, Garden City.  

We are very fortunate to have Eric Iberger, NYSTRS Board Member and President of the Bayport-Blue Point Teachers’ Association, as our presenter.  No matter where you are in your career, these workshops will give you a solid overview of the New York State Teachers’ Retirement System,  your options, pension calculations, and the important role pensions play in our national economy.   You’ll walk away better informed and better prepared to speak confidently about your pension benefits.

The workshops will be held on the following dates:

• November 24, 2025 – 5:00–7:00 PM

• December 15, 2025 – 5:00–7:00 PM

• January 5, 2026 – 5:00–7:00 PM

Each workshop will cover the same material, so you only need to register for one session. There’s no fee to attend, but you must be a HCTA member. Please use the link below to select and register for the session that works best for you:
