We are very fortunate to have as our presenter Eric Iberger, NYSTRS Board Member and President of the Bayport-Blue Point Teachers’ Association.
The presentation will provide an overview of the New York State Teacher's Retirement System, including some of the relevant options and pension calculations. We will also focus on the value of pensions in the national economy, so members are properly prepared to address people who are critical of this valuable benefit.
There is no fee to attend but you must be a NYSUT member. Registration capacity is 60 members (there will be a waitlist)—so please register as soon as possible to secure your spot.
